The week before the big move

CANCEL the newspaper, make sure all utilities will be transferred or canceled, if trash service, water or sewer is privately billed remember to take care of them and any other services that are billed to you personnel that may continue at the house(lawn services, snow removal, pest control, cable, etc.).

Place fragile items in one area of the house to be moved last, so that way other heavier items won’t be stacked on top of them. Note any items you don’t want moved.

Our listings in the Realtors Multiple Listing Service (RMLS) are complete. Many Realtors are lax and do not include details. This means that their listings do not surface when other Realtors do computer searches for items such as school districts, neighborhoods, hardwood floors, view, private, etc.
